Welcome to Oily Mommy of 4. I have recently fallen head over heels in love with Essential Oils!! They have changed my life and I am excited to learn more and educate others on choosing healthier, natural options for your family. But first, let me back up and share my oily story with you. I come from a long line of genetic health problems. My mother, grandmother and probably her mother too. Anyway, I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, Scoliosis and Degenerative disk disease. Yes, all of that. There is apparently a party going on in my back that I didn't get invited to. I have been taking a handful of prescription meds for as long as I remember. Nerve meds, narcotics, anti inflammatories, anti depressants, blah, blah, blah. And each and every one of them carry a long list of side effects. I hated it!!! I was tired, depressed and guess what, I was still in pain. Madness, I know. All the while, I begin to notice several of my friends mentioning essential oils on facebook. I began to do some research. I did this for a long time. I was extremely skeptical. I mean how in the world could you rub some oil on yourself and get relief. So, I waited and I researched and I waited some more. I simply could not afford to waste money on something that wasn't going to work. Well, I finally got the nerve to order the oils and I am so grateful that I did. I ripped into my box and immediately made my first "morphine bomb". Frankincense, Balsam Fir and Copaiba. 5 drops of each in a veggie cap. I was absolutely shocked at how it relieved my pain, dare I say, even better than the prescription toxins I had been putting in my body. And guess what. NO side effects. I feel clear, alert, and aware of my surroundings.  These are things the FDA approved chemical medicines had stolen from me. These oils have almost completely replaced 3 of the medicines I had to take every day just to function. I have replaced antibiotic creams with a natural blend of oils and it works even better for my kids bumps and bruises.  When I say "There is an oil for that!!" I promise it is the truth!! I look forward to building my Oily Arsenal and learning more and more about these amazing little oils. And I promise to bring you along for the journey!!! Lets goo!!
